Writing is a Novelty

Catherine Westbrook lives in Eastern Ontario with her husband and son. Picking up her first historical romance at the age of 15 she immediately became hooked. Though she had made several attempts at writing at a young age she never considered writing her first manuscript until a life altering event made her realize that life is too short not to follow your dreams. After attending several writing workshops and with the support of her family, she began an eight year journey to write her first manuscript. Finally after several years of kidney dialysis, a kidney transplant, working part-time and caring for her young son her determination would finally pay off. Now with one novel completed and a second one in the works she’s more determined then ever to achieve her next challenge, to have her work published.
